Thoughts all week

This week was no less chaotic then any other week I have had so far. The cobweb just seems to grow bigger with every week. A Roller-Coaster of thoughts just seems so endless. A moment I feel that yes this is what I wanna do, exactly how you feel when you reach the highest point in a roller-coaster ride, Blissful! The very next minute, ride begins a speedy descent. And dam it does with freaky speedy. There I go again, what was I thinking! I can’t possibly do that. It’s just not possible. It’s just not meant to be. I would be making a big mistake if I flow in that wave. All such thoughts grip my mind and in no time I am back to ground zero. Was the escape route to find my destiny a mirage or was it the cloud of fear and low confidence that blinded me from taking those critical initial steps.

Philosophical thoughts loog boll to jatae hae… But sallaa confuse hamae kar jatae hae… Ekk banda bol gaya ke, “choices are all yours. You cannot and should not blame anyone for the things that are happening to you. No one can force you to do something or not to do something. You always have the final say. You accept it or reject it, it’s your decision at the end no matter what.” Waha Waha!!! I agree…. But dude keese aur bandae nae yae bhi kaha hae ke, “Its Destiny my friend. A complex calculation of what you have done in previous life and what all you have done so far. No one has or will get any more than he/she deserves.” Boss sahi bolla yaar… I agree again…. Ab bata mujhe… if both are correct and if I make a choice and if it does not work out well then what do I consider it as… a mistake or a minor set back. Considering I have responsibilities on my shoulders and I do not have leisure of experimenting too much plus I have a small time frame to make something worthwhile out of me…. Chaotic right….

Well I really don’t know what would I do next. Whether this roller-coaster, mumbo-jumbo of thoughts ever stops? When would I find what I want and how many times I would fall before it. I really don’t know how much longer will I have to wait for the stability I need. It’s just been a year and a half since I have started working and I have never thought so much ever since I remember. Especially, if so much thinking yields only more confusion then what do I make out of it. I am still there where I was yesterday with a little more clarity of things than yesterday and better preparedness for tomorrow. Vijay, Mr. Nice Guy, My friend correctly said, “Life does not mean no problems, Life means you have problems at every step, small and big, and you toil to get over them. That’s why we call life a lesson learnt only once you are through…. :D ”

Lovers Last words For His Beloved

Standing on a beach on a windy day,
I held fine sand in my hands.

When I squeezed it to protect it from being blown away,
It still slipped out from between my fingers.

When I opened my fist to let the sand breath freely,
Wind blew it away anyways.

In either case I could not keep the sand with me.

Such is my condition today,
As destiny has brought you to me morphed as sand.

In either case I would not be able to keep the you with me.

"ARK"

An Act of Random Kindness - ARK:

Was just watching a movie on star movies today in the morning. These guys had floated this idea that i thought i should share it with all you out there.

How does one go about changing this world?
How does one bring about a change in the environment that we dwell in?

It's very difficult, in fact next to impossible, to bring about a change in peoples' attitude. You can influence them, no doubt, but to bring about a revolution you need something more solid than just influencing people by words. What you require is to change the way you do things. What you require is to revolutionize yourself and then let that revolution influence people to follow your example. Everyone has got into the habit of taking only the tried and tested path. No one is ready to take a path that is less traveled.

Lets all today pledge to take head on this less traveled path. Lets change this world simply by changing things around us. Simple acts of kindness like helping a old lady wanting to cross the road or may be helping an aunt carry her fruit basket back to her home. Initially people might suspect you for what you do for them. They might doubt your intentions. But fear we shall not. This thinking pattern is actually what we intend to change.

All i ask today is one Act of Random Kindness that influences people around you to make this world less of capital minded and add a minuscule of socialism to there lives. :)

One Act of Random Kindness, that is all i put on the table.... hope you guys pic up this thought and put it to practice in your own special ways... :)

cheers to "ARK"...

Politico Play

Shiv Saniks along with their few followers caused a major traffic jam on the Western Express Highway during the peak hours of June 8th, 2009’s evening in Vakola. This chaos swathe entire western express highway as to the protest by the Shiv Saniks against the alleged inflation of power bills by Reliance Infra increased. The troop first headed towards the Reliance Infrastructure Office in Vakola off the highway. Shiv Sena men were out to aid the general public but ended up wreaking damage on the same “Aam Adami’s” property and interest. I really never understand what these parties have in mind when they show their agitation against injustice done by some X entity on general public by damaging millions of rupee worth public property itself. Is it not an irony that you cause damage to the same people whom you say you are representing? What was achieved by causing traffic jams on the Express highway and burning trucks all over the city? Shiv Saniks could have put their point in a more civilized manner. Once again their intentions where correct but there modus operandi was all wrong. Is this kind of agitation justified? Are our politicos working for the Aam Aadmi or against them? Is this inflated show of tantrums just a gimmick to gain publicity? One thing is for sure, youth of today aren’t going to buy this nonsense as to be done for the betterment of us “The Aam Aadmi”.

Comments on the above by my colleague Saurabh Kulkarni – A person with Good insight on Political Theater.

Just for knowledge : The “Aam Aadmi “ term was coined by Congress and not Shiv-Sena …….

The primary reason for agitation is justified coz if u check the bills b4 reliance Infra had taken over with current bills the difference is clearly visible …
The Shiv-Sainiks are known for the violent protest which are sometimes justified coz the business class are very unfair one small time workers .. But the end result many-a-times is reverse of what is intended … The reason parties give is that U need LOUD NOISE since the Government and Business people turn a blind eye to silent protests …

In this case the protest seem to have turned hostile which makes me sad ….. That is d only reason I don’t support any of the political parties completely ….
But then to blame only Shiv-Sena will b unfair on your part …. All the issues are politically motivated … If u look in closely the reliance Infra is controlled by anil ambani who Is close to Samajwadi party …. In short all d political parties have their vote-bank and issues which they feel will increase it …..

As a citizen it’s our duty to discuss these matter with friends and family to get a opinion about all the current affairs …….. For this episode clearly I will blame Shiv-Sena which could have easily handled the issue with a peaceful protest …. Frankly speaking had it been a silent protest hardly anyone would have been aware of the issue …. But violence for any cause cannot b supported

Environmental Concerns Seen as a Roadblock

With the new government in power, it’s now time to work on the promises made to the electorate by the UPA. Infrastructure being a heavy weight in driving economic growth of our country will be getting a lot of attention. But is the nation expecting a boom in infrastructure of India at the cost of increase contribution to damaging our environment? TOI dated June 5th, 2009 speaks of the a secret report of the finance ministry suggesting easing of the environment clearance norms thereby removing the hindrances to the growth plan the Govt. In power has. It doesn’t sound as a good deal to me. As effects to our environment do not come up to the surface immediately but have a long lasting effect on our Mother Nature’s health, UPA must ensure that it doesn’t go very far in altering these environment clearance norms. The Govt. can fool the public for now but in long run it won’t be of any help to UPA image. Environment Clearance Norms are basically a protocol to be followed when a project that might release pollutants into the environment has to be sanctioned. By diluting such norms our Nation might get a helping hand in speeding up infrastructure plans but at the same time with exponential speed hamper our environment leading to dire consequences to our future generation. The new Environment minister Jairam Ramesh has a great responsibility on his shoulders to ensure that he does not succumb to extreme demands from the center. At the same time, he should put efforts in making Infrastructure growth and Environment protection passengers of the same carriage of India’s' Growth. By not just following the routine and thinking out of the box he can sail to the shores safely. All we can do is wait and hope for Responsible Actions from the Closet of UPA after having given a mandate to run our nation with sovereignty.

Focus To Achieve

As Insect, by the power of concentration, becomes a bee, so does man
become Brahmn by the dint of Samadhi.

- Kularnava Tantra.

Elaboration:

The insect is said to evolve into a bee by the sheer force of its
brooding. Even so, man can become a Brahmn if he sufficiently
concentrates upon Brahmn.

He gathers all the threads of his consciousness, focuses it on the
idea, The truth of Brahmn that he wants to be, and dwells upon it
uninterruptedly.

By practice, the consciousness absorbs the nature of the thought
concentrated upon – here the Brahmn – and slowly becomes one with it.

Man becomes Brahmn.

J&K - Heaven on Earth or an Inferno

J&K – Is it just a State for India, or a Piece of God Given Beautiful
Land? Do the other states know the exact inferno burning there? Many
times there have been debates on J&K and nothing but zilch has
resulted out of it. June 4th, 2009's TOI speaks of Pak's plan to aid
financially some of its terrorist conglomerations to replicate Mumbai
26/11 massacre but only this time in J&K. This has been seen as an
effort from Pak to nudge India to come back on the negotiation table
to talk about J&K. Irony at its best!!!

This never ending issue of J&K must be resolved ASAP. Unless our
government in power as well as the opposition shows its attitude of
secularism, can we win over the minds and hearts of the people from
the land we call "Crown of India"? It is not enough to call J&K as an
Indian Territory on just a gubernatorial paper. The situation is not
all that simple as we all know. The people of J&K want India to remove
the Armed Force Special Power Act attributed as the "draconian law".
From their perspective it is a fair demand. But if India does so, the
evil elements of the society and world at large, will take it as an
opportunity to spell havoc. And if India does not reduce Army strength
in these regions then incidents like "rape of two women of the valley
allegedly by Indian Army" will only be politicized driving more hatred
against the Indian Army and Nation at large in the minds of the J&K.
People of valley should also grasp the fact that Pak isn't an entity
to be trusted. It's merely behaving like a notorious child. How can
anyone trust an entity that plots terrorist attacks against our people
with an intention to get Indian authority on the negotiation table to
discuss about that land issues of whose people they hurt. At the same
time, none of the actions from the Indian authority should be with the
point of view of keeping Pak at bay. India should act with a sole
intention of winning hearts and minds of people of the valley.

Few Lines By Rudyard Kipling

A few lines from If'- one of many poems by Rudyard Kipling:

If you can dream--and not make dreams your master,
If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings--nor lose the common touch,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more—you ll be a Man, my son!

Few Lines By kalidasa

Listen to the Exhortation of dawn!

For it is life, the very life of life.

In this brief course lie all the varieties and realities of your existence.

The Bliss of Growth,

The Glory of Action,

The splendor of beauty;

For yesterday is but a dream,

And tomorrow is only a vision;

But today well lived makes every yesterday a Dream of Happiness,

And every tomorrow a vision of Hope.

Look well therefore to this day!

Such is the situation of the Dawn!

-- Kalidasa.
